Who is Parcse?

Parcse builds software that solves everyday problems and stays out of your way. Its apps include Looq, Upto, Ajar, Sweeper, Mux, and Tray. Learn more on the About page.

Can I try an app before buying?

Free trial availability varies by app and can change at any time. When a trial is available, it starts the first time you open the app. When an app is sold without a trial, Parcse Shop purchases are refundable in full within 14 days instead.

Can I get a refund?

Parcse Shop purchases are refundable in full within 14 days if the app did not offer a free trial at the time of purchase. Parcse Shop purchases made while a trial was offered are non-refundable. To request a refund, email support@parcse.com with your license key. Refunds for purchases from other stores, such as the Mac App Store or Setapp, follow that store’s policy.

Will my license work on multiple Macs?

Each Parcse Shop plan covers a set number of Macs, and some plans let you add more at checkout or later in the License Manager, up to 50 on one license. See the Shop for each app’s plans. Mac App Store and Setapp purchases follow that store’s own device rules.

What happens if I switch to a new Mac?

Deactivate the old Mac in the app’s settings or in the License Manager, then activate the new one. The License Manager lists every Mac on your license, including ones you no longer have.

Where can I find my license key or receipt?

License keys arrive by email right after a Parcse Shop purchase, one message per app, and Link emails your receipt. If you cannot find them, sign in to the License Manager with your purchase email to show your keys and open the receipt for every payment. For Gumroad purchases, use the key and receipt from Gumroad.

Do you offer educational or student discounts?

Students, teachers, and researchers get 20% off Parcse Shop purchases. Apply on the education page with your school or institution email. After review, usually within a few days, we email you a single-use code that is valid for 14 days.

Do you offer free licenses for creators?

Yes. If you publish videos, articles, newsletters, podcasts, or social posts, you can request a free license for Looq, Upto, Ajar, Sweeper, or Mux through the creator program. Every request is reviewed, and the license usually arrives by email within a few days.

What is Parcse Supporter?

Parcse Supporter is a yearly membership that includes every Parcse app available today and almost every new one released while you are a member, each for up to three Macs. Lifetime apps stay yours if you cancel, and members get early access to new apps and alpha builds. See the Supporter page for details.

Do your apps collect any personal data?

Your files stay on your device. We collect only what purchases, licensing, and update checks need, the app versions Upto shares with Upto Index, and diagnostics in some apps, which you can turn off in the app’s settings. We do not build advertising profiles, share, or sell data. See the privacy policy for the full list.
